Hi, it's Chika. I decided to get a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea, but then I ended up having travel plans right after... 😅
How long does swelling typically last after a procedure? Also, when you're flying or staying in hotels, what items or care products do you all carry to help reduce swelling? I've heard that cooling helps, but it's difficult to do that while traveling, isn't it...?
Honestly, since this is my first procedure, I'm quite anxious. If anyone has experience, I'd love to hear about what it was actually like, or any recommended ways to spend your time. Sorry if this is a weird question!

I can totally understand your nervousness! I was in a similar situation before, rushing to catch a flight right after a minor procedure in Korea, and felt so anxious 😅 My doctor told me that swelling usually subsides gradually within a few days, but flying can definitely complicate things a bit. In my experience, carrying compression masks and a hydrating mist with me was a huge help. Also, drinking plenty of water on the plane and trying to elevate your legs can be more effective than you might think! However, it's best to ask your doctor for specifics, as they can give you the most practical advice based on your procedure. You've got this, you'll be fine!
