Hello ladies, I'm interested in getting cosmetic surgery in Korea, but I'm a bit worried about the financial and organizational aspects. This is my first time considering traveling alone for treatments, so I'm not sure how to budget correctly. I need to factor in the flight, hotel, and the surgery itself, and honestly, I don't know how many days I'll need to stay there after the procedure.
I've read some information about recovery and follow-up periods, but every surgery is different, and everyone's body is different. Do I really need a full week? Or can I return after a few days? And how do I know which hotel to choose that's close to the clinic or generally in safe areas?
If anyone here has traveled before and planned a budget, I hope you can share your experiences – how did you plan? Did you end up accounting for hidden costs you didn't consider? And would you advise me to go and consult first to get a better understanding of approximately how many days I'll need?

I was thinking the same thing, so this post is really helpful! I was also curious about the recovery period and length of stay. It really does vary from person to person, so it seems like asking for details during the initial consultation is the most reliable approach.
I completely understand your concerns! I came alone too, and at first, I was really confused about the budget and recovery time. My suggestion is to have online consultations with a few hospitals first. They can usually give you a general timeline and cost range based on the specific procedure, which will help you plan better. As for accommodation, I stayed in a guesthouse near the hospital, which was convenient and saved some money, and I felt safer and more at ease.
