Hi, my name is View, and next week I'm having a petit procedure in Korea, but I'll be traveling abroad for a few days afterward. Does anyone have experience with swelling management and effective aftercare while traveling? I'm worried about what items to pack and which are okay to take on a plane.
I think I'll need cool packs, moisturizing balm, and other things, but I'm not sure which brands are good or easily available in Thailand. Has anyone had this procedure and then traveled afterward successfully? Do you have any advice? Or does anyone know if clinics usually recommend travel essentials afterward? Thank you!

Have you asked the clinic directly what they recommend bringing on the plane? I've heard people mention that ice packs and gentle moisturizers are key, but I'm also wondering if there are restrictions on what you can carry internationally.
I also went abroad immediately after completing a small project. The most useful things were bringing a small cooling pad and a refreshing face cream. Gently wiping my face with a wet wipe on the plane made me feel much more comfortable! I suggest you ask the hospital nurses before you leave. They usually give you a care list, which will put your mind at ease.
I've had a similar experience! My advice is to always ask the clinic for their post-operative care checklist; they'll usually tell you what you can bring on the plane. I brought small packets of soothing masks and moisturizing lotion, which were very helpful on the plane, but the most important thing is to drink plenty of water and avoid pressing on your face.
