Hi everyone, I'm Anh from Vietnam. I'm thinking about trying a cosmetic procedure in Korea but I'm really confused about the budget. It's not that the procedure is too expensive, but I don't know how to budget reasonably when adding in airfare, hotel, food, etc. Can someone help me understand how long I usually need to stay there? Is it 3-4 days or longer?
I've heard that some procedures require recovery time, so I'm not sure if I should take a week off. Accommodation costs are also mixed – is it more expensive to stay near the medical center? And how much money should I set aside as a contingency? I don't want to spend too much and not have enough to take care of myself after I get back.
Has anyone here done this before? Thank you, I really need advice from someone who has gone through this. I'm trying to plan carefully to avoid financial surprises.

I had the same worry last year, but I found that making an online consultation and appointment in advance can save a lot of time and money. Also, recovery time varies from person to person, so it's best to ask your doctor how long your specific procedure will take. Surprisingly, the guesthouse I found near the subway station was cheaper than the one near the hospital, which saved me some money!
I was also shocked by the cost when I went to Seoul before, but I later discovered that finding guesthouses on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) in advance was much cheaper than hotels, and it also saved me money on daily meals. This way, I could save almost half on accommodation costs for the entire trip. I think about a week is a safer bet, allowing enough time for my body to recover without being too rushed.
