I've been wrestling with something lately. I want to get a cosmetic procedure done, and I could do it domestically, but friends around me have mentioned that Korean technology and service experience are both pretty great. The thing is, it would mean making a special trip there, dealing with all the back-and-forth hassle, and I'd have to factor in the cost and time... I'm just not sure.
My main concern right now is — if I do it domestically, can I find a doctor I can actually trust? But if I go to Korea, even though the technology is supposedly excellent, it's an unfamiliar place after all, and I'd have to worry about the language barrier, post-procedure care, all that stuff. Plus, I can't be around my family during the recovery period, which is also a bit concerning.
I'm wondering if anyone here has gone through this kind of decision-making? How did you weigh your options? I'd especially love to hear from people who've done procedures both domestically and in Korea — to compare how the experiences felt. Please share your thoughts!

I've been thinking the same thing! By the way, when you mentioned that your friends recommended Korea, did they go alone or with friends/family? Because I'm also nervous about having to recover by myself in a foreign country 😅
Could you tell me a bit about your experience with beauty treatments here in Thailand? And have you found that your main concerns are around aftercare, or is it more about finding a trustworthy doctor?
