Hey everyone! So I've been thinking about getting a procedure done for a while now, and I keep going back and forth on whether to just do it in the US or actually make the trip to Korea. Part of me is like... why not take the chance and go? But then I'm also thinking about the costs of flights, hotels, time off work, and honestly the nerves of doing something medical in another country where I don't speak the language fluently.
I've heard so many good things about getting aesthetic procedures done in Korea — the technology, the experience, how thorough consultations seem to be — but I'm also wondering if I'm just romanticizing it? Like, are there really big differences, or is it more about what feels right for you personally? And how do you even know which clinics are legit when you're not from there?
For those of you who've done this before, how did you make the call? Did you go for it and feel like it was worth the trip and hassle, or do you wish you'd just stuck with local options? Any honest takes would help me stop spiraling, haha. Also, if anyone has advice on what actually matters when comparing options, I'm all ears!
