Hi everyone! So I've been thinking about getting a procedure done in Korea for a while now, and I'm finally getting serious about it. But honestly, I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out the actual costs and logistics. Like, how much should I be saving overall when you factor in flights, hotels, maybe some downtime before I can fly back? I'm from the US so it's a decent trip.
I know the procedure itself will be a certain amount, but I'm really unsure about how to budget realistically for the whole experience. Do most people stay for a week? Two weeks? And does recovery time mean you need extra days just sitting around in your hotel, or can you actually explore a bit? I'm also wondering if there are cheaper areas to stay if you're going to be resting anyway, or if it makes more sense to just stay closer to the clinic.
Has anyone done this before and regretted how they planned it financially? Like, did you end up spending way more than expected on accommodation or food while recovering? I'm trying to be smart about this and not go in blind. Any tips on how you approached the whole trip planning would be really helpful — especially if you came from far away like I would be!
Thanks in advance, I'm just trying to do my homework before I commit to anything 💙

I'm thinking the same thing! It's really far from America, so I'm also unsure about how long I should stay and what a realistic budget would be. I hope someone can share their experiences regarding the duration of stay and living costs during recovery, as that's what worries me the most too!
