Hello everyone, I'm Fei, from China. I'm thinking about getting a small aesthetic procedure done in Korea recently, but my Korean isn't great, and I get a bit confused when reading reviews. Many recommendations on Chinese platforms feel pretty similar, and I'm not sure if they're genuine feedback or just promotions.
I'd like to ask for your advice: how do you tell if reviews are real or fake? Are there any red flags I should pay special attention to? For example, are places where all reviews are five-star and the wording is very uniform more suspicious? Also, do you check Korean reviews and Chinese reviews simultaneously for comparison?
Furthermore, if I can't understand Korean, besides relying on translation software, are there any other ways to better understand a clinic's reputation? I've heard that some forums or communities have discussions from real users, but I'm also not sure how to distinguish which information is more reliable. I hope sisters who have had similar experiences can share their insights!

I completely understand your concern. I'm also considering getting a small procedure done in Korea, so I'm struggling with how to tell genuine reviews from fake ones. The all-five-star, repetitive-wording reviews you mentioned are indeed suspicious. I'm now leaning towards looking for comments with photos and details that seem more casual, as they feel more authentic. Some people suggest asking on Korean forums or international travel communities, which is a good idea to hear about experiences from users of different nationalities!
