Hi everyone, I'm Yun. I'm considering getting a beauty consultation in Seoul, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but I'm not so sure about medical terminology, so Chinese would be the most comfortable. I'd like to ask everyone, is English enough for a consultation at a cosmetic clinic in Seoul? Or is it better to find a translator or a doctor who speaks Chinese?
I've heard that some clinics offer Chinese consultation services, but I'm not sure if this is common. Have any of you recently had a consultation in Seoul? Could you share your experiences, especially regarding communication?
If my English isn't good enough, would it be troublesome to bring my own translator? Would it be very expensive? I just want to ensure I accurately understand the doctor's advice and avoid misunderstandings due to language barriers. Any advice from experienced people?
