Hi, it's Risa. I had a minor cosmetic procedure in Seoul last week, but I experienced more swelling and bruising than I expected... 😅
I'm happy with the procedure itself, but I'm not sure how to best spend the recovery period. I'd love to hear about your experiences with cooling and warming – when to do them and for how long. Also, when was it okay to start wearing makeup? I need to minimize the appearance quickly because of work...
Has anyone here had procedures in Korea, or undergone similar treatments? Any general care tips, or things you were mindful of in your daily life – anything at all would be helpful. I know everyone is different, but I'd like to have something to refer to 😊

Hi Lisa! I'm also thinking about trying a similar procedure, so your post is super helpful for me! I hope the swelling goes down quickly, you'll definitely be able to wear makeup normally again soon 😊
Lisa, I've been in the same situation before! For me, cold compresses helped with swelling for the first 2-3 days, and then switching to warm compresses worked well – but this can vary from person to person. Makeup was fine after 4-5 days, and remember, you always need to provide excellent care! 🙌
Hi Lisa, great work! I also had a tough time with swelling and bruising after a similar procedure. Personally, I felt that icing for the first 2-3 days was effective. After that, I switched to warm compresses, but the timing really varies from person to person, so I think it's best to rely most on the advice from where you had the procedure done. Makeup looks better after the swelling has subsided, so I waited a few days without rushing 😊
I also just finished a minor procedure in Seoul a few days ago and totally get how you feel! The swelling and bruising are definitely more than I expected, but from what I've read and heard from friends, it's pretty normal. I'm also curious about the right timing for compresses and when it's safe to wear makeup again, hopefully, someone can share some practical tips for both of us! 😅
I totally get how you feel 😅 The first time I did it, they said inflammation would improve in 3-5 days, but mine took longer. I recommend keeping cold things in the fridge and avoiding strenuous activities to speed up recovery. It seemed to help me!
Hi Lisa! I'm also considering trying a similar procedure, so reading your post was incredibly helpful. I hope the swelling and bruising go away quickly, and thank you for sharing your experience—if you have any updates on your recovery later, I'd love to know your practical tips for getting back to normal at the office! 💪
