Hey everyone! So I'm planning to get a small procedure done in Korea next month, but I'm flying back to the US right after (I know, not ideal timing lol). I'm mostly worried about swelling and just want to be prepared with the right stuff to bring back home.
Has anyone else traveled shortly after getting work done? I'm curious what aftercare products actually made a difference for you — like cooling masks, supplements, or just regular stuff from home? I'm trying to figure out what I should pack vs. what I can pick up easily once I'm back.
Also, any general tips for keeping swelling down during the flight itself? I'm assuming compression, staying hydrated, and maybe avoiding salty snacks? Not sure if there's anything else I'm missing. Would love to hear from people who've been through this because I want to be realistic about recovery and not freak out if I'm still puffy for a bit.
Thanks in advance! 💕

Hi sister! I'm also curious about swelling during flights. How many days did you rest after your surgery before flying? I've heard some people say that the first few days of flying are quite uncomfortable. I'd like to hear about your plans!
Understandable, it's a difficult situation like yours! I also went back to my shelter within a week after receiving the service before, but it was even more difficult. It seems like you're doing a good job now, which really helps 💕
I've had a similar experience! One thing that really helps on a plane is bringing a cooling eye mask that you can store in your bag—much more convenient than a regular sheet mask. Don't forget to drink plenty of water during the flight, as the air on a plane can be dehydrating and can make puffiness more visible. Have a safe trip! 💕
I also flew back home after completing some procedures, and the best way was to bring a cooling mask from home because it's hard to find a suitable one at the airport or on the plane. You should prepare one in your checked baggage, and drinking plenty of water on the plane is the most effective way to reduce swelling!
