Hey everyone, I'm Mae from the US and I'm kind of stuck between two options right now. I've been thinking about getting a procedure done for a while, and I keep going back and forth on whether to do it locally or actually make the trip to Korea. I've heard so many good things about getting treatments done here, but I'm honestly not sure if it's worth the whole travel situation, time off work, and the upfront cost of the flight plus accommodation.
I guess I'm curious about how other people from abroad made this decision? Like, did you weigh cost vs quality, or was it more about wanting that specific experience or approach? I'm also wondering if anyone felt nervous about getting something done in a different country — like language barriers, follow-up care if something feels off, that kind of thing. I know there are skilled practitioners everywhere, but I keep reading about people having really different experiences.
I'm not even sure what questions I should be asking myself at this point, to be honest. Has anyone else been in this headspace and figured out what made the most sense for them? Any thoughts would really help me think this through!

I'm in the same dilemma, Mae! 😅 The price difference is really tempting, but when I think about the costs of flights, hotels, and vacation time, I start to wonder if the difference in quality is worth all that expense and hassle. But I feel like what's truly important is finding someone trustworthy, whether it's here or there, more than the location itself.
