Hi, it's Ei. I had a minor cosmetic procedure in Seoul last week, and I experienced more swelling and bruising than I expected... 😅
The procedure itself was very short, but even a few days later, the marks are still visible. How do you all take care of yourselves in these situations? Should I be icing it, or using heat, and when? Also, I'd love to hear any tips on what to be mindful of in my daily life.
I want to speed up my recovery even a little and eventually be able to cover it with makeup, but I know rushing isn't good. If anyone has gone through something similar, I'd love to know how long it actually took for the marks to become unnoticeable. I know it probably varies depending on the procedure, but any general advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ah, I totally understand how you feel! I also traveled from the UAE to Korea for self-care, and the swelling and bruising disappointed me at first 😅. But I was patient, and after a week or two, things really started to improve. Thank God, the bruising doesn't show easily anymore. I advise you to be a little patient and don't worry, your body is working on itself!
I totally get the frustration! I had something similar happen last month and was shocked at how much swelling showed up the next day 😅 I'd love to hear what actually worked for people too—everyone seems to have different experiences with recovery timelines, so it's reassuring to know I'm not alone in this!
