Hi, I'm Natsuki. I've been struggling with my double eyelids for a long time and recently started seriously considering surgery in Seoul. I know it's possible to get it done in Japan, but I've heard that there are more clinics with experienced surgeons in Korea, and that the costs are generally lower. However, when you factor in flights and accommodation, I'm still unsure which option is ultimately better... I'm feeling quite conflicted.
For those who have actually had surgery abroad, what was your decision-making process like? I'm curious if language barriers or post-operative follow-up appointments were difficult. Also, I wonder if many clinics offer online or remote consultations and follow-ups.
Personally, I believe receiving a thorough and satisfactory consultation is the most important thing, but it seems difficult with language barriers. Has anyone used translation apps? Or should I consider learning some Korean before going? I'd be grateful for any advice.
