Hi everyone! I'm Shanshan, and I've been thinking about getting some medical aesthetic treatments done in Korea lately, but honestly, I'm pretty worried about going alone. My Korean is really limited, and I don't understand the whole process very well. I wanted to ask you all — how did you find trustworthy clinics? Are there any screening methods or red flags I should watch out for?
I'm especially concerned about communication — do some places have translators on staff? Or do I need to find my own translator? Is it safer if the clinic itself offers English or Chinese consultation services? Also, what questions should I ask during my first consultation to gauge whether a doctor is actually reliable?
Does anyone have experience they could share? Especially how you made sure the clinic is genuinely professional and not just trying to make money off tourists... I'd really appreciate your help! Thanks so much~
