Hey everyone! I'm heading to Korea in a couple weeks for a procedure and I'm trying to figure out what to bring for recovery. I know I'll need to keep things clean and calm down there, but I'm honestly not sure what's actually helpful vs. just marketing hype.
I'm thinking about packing cooling masks, maybe some silicone scar sheets, and a good soothing gel — but I don't want to overdo it or bring things that won't actually make a difference. Has anyone done this before and found certain items were actually worth the luggage space? Like, did the cooling masks really help, or was it just nice psychologically lol? And should I wait to see what the clinic recommends before I stock up on everything?
Also wondering if I should just buy stuff there instead since I'll have access to Korean brands and products. Would love to hear what worked for you guys!

Honestly, I'd say wait to see what your place recommends first—they usually give you a specific aftercare list anyway! That said, I brought cooling masks last time and they were more of a comfort thing for me, not life-changing lol. But I wish I'd packed gentle cleansing wipes because finding the right ones in Korea took forever. Maybe just bring a few essentials and grab the rest there? The beauty stores are so good and honestly half the fun of being in Korea is discovering new products!
