Hello ladies, I'm Lina from Dubai and I'm currently considering a new personal matter. I want to get a minor cosmetic procedure done, and I have two options: either go to a doctor here in the UAE for a quick and easy procedure, or plan a trip to Korea and have the procedure done there. Each option has its pros and cons, and I'm really torn.
The UAE's advantages are clear—there are no travel costs, I can go to the doctor at my convenience, and follow-up appointments are easy. However, I've heard a lot that cosmetic services in Korea are on a completely different level, and that the doctors there are more experienced and have more advanced technologies. But at the same time, I'm not sure if this is true, or if it's just hearsay.
Has anyone else made the same decision? How did you decide to go to Korea instead of staying home? Or vice versa? I'd like to hear about your personal experiences so I can think more clearly. What factors influenced your decision?

Hey Lina, I'm actually in a similar boat right now! The convenience factor of staying put is so real, but honestly I've been leaning toward making the trip to Korea too because I keep hearing from friends that the experience and range of options there is just different. I think the follow-up care thing is my biggest worry though — like, would it be annoying to need touchups and have to travel back? Maybe someone here has dealt with that!
