I'm Uyen, and I'm considering getting a cosmetic procedure but I'm unsure whether to do it in Vietnam or fly to South Korea. I see benefits on both sides — staying home would save costs and I wouldn't need to ask for leave from work, but South Korea seems to have more advanced technology, and I feel more reassured by their hygiene standards. The few weeks of recovery time is definitely a concern for me.

I'm also worried about which place is safer. I can borrow money if needed, but what if there are complications? I've asked a few friends, but everyone has a different opinion.

Has anyone faced a similar decision? How did you decide? Are there any difficulties with going to South Korea that I need to prepare for? Or should I try doing it at home first, or to be more certain, fly to South Korea from the start? I'm really at a loss.
