Hi everyone, I'm Liyun from Taiwan. I've been considering getting some aesthetic medical treatments in Korea lately, but to be honest, I'm a bit nervous about the language barrier and trust issues. I'd like to ask those of you with experience — how do you usually find reliable clinics? Is it through online reviews? Or friend recommendations?
I'm particularly curious about how to verify whether a clinic's Chinese consultation or translation staff are professional and trustworthy. I know some clinics have translators on staff, but I'm not sure how to assess the quality of their translation. Also, what questions should I ask during my first consultation to make sure communication is clear and accurate?
If anyone has done this research before, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences and advice. Thank you so much!

Hey Liyun! I've been thinking about the same thing too, so I totally get your concerns about language and trust. In my opinion, asking for referrals from friends or trusted online communities really helps, and then try communicating first via chat or email to see how responsive they are and how clearly they explain the process—you can usually tell right away if they're professional or not. Hopefully we both end up finding a place where we feel comfortable!
