Hi everyone, I'm Quynh from Vietnam. I've just planned a trip to Korea in the next few weeks for some minor adjustments, but I'm a bit worried about post-procedure care. I want to bring a few things from home to feel more at ease, rather than having to search for everything while my face is still swollen.
I'm considering bringing things like cooling masks, silicone sheets for scars, or some soothing gels for aftercare. I'm not sure which ones are really necessary, or if these items are readily available in Korea now? Should I prepare too carefully, or just go with the flow?
For those of you who have had cosmetic procedures abroad, what did you pack in your post-op care kit? Is there anything that you found truly helpful, or conversely, something you brought but didn't end up using at all? I'd love to hear your experiences!

Hi Quynh, I'm also from Vietnam and just came here for work. It's really great to bring cooling masks from home because after swelling, you'll only want to use what you're familiar with. As for other products, Seoul has everything available, so no need to worry! 😊
I also came from abroad and completely understand your concerns! I brought a ton of things with me back then, and it turned out some of them were completely useless, haha. I suggest bringing just one or two products you're most familiar with, because it's actually very easy to buy all sorts of skincare products here in Korea, and many hotels or accommodations will also provide basics. The most important thing is to follow your doctor's advice; they'll tell you what you need post-surgery, so no need to over-prepare!
Hi Quynh! I'm also considering getting a small procedure done in Korea and wanted to ask if you plan to buy these products locally in Korea or bring them from Vietnam? I've heard that Korean cosmetic stores have a wide selection, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to find suitable products immediately after the procedure, so I'm a bit torn about whether to bring some from home in advance~
