Hi everyone, I'm Xue. I'm planning to have a minor cosmetic procedure in Seoul next month, but I'll be staying there for about a week before returning home. I'd like to ask experienced ladies, what's the best way to care for the swelling after the procedure?
I've heard that there's significant swelling in the first few days, especially if you're going out. What methods do you all use to relieve it? Cold compresses, massage, or are there any skincare products that are particularly helpful? I'm a bit conflicted about whether to bring some soothing masks or skincare products from China, or if it would be more convenient to buy them locally.
Also, could anyone share what the daily post-procedure care routine usually entails? Sunscreen and moisturizing are essential, but are there any special precautions I should take? For example, what product ingredients should I avoid, or when can I resume my normal skincare routine?
Thank you everyone!

I also had a simple treatment in Seoul after traveling from overseas, so I completely understand your concerns! In my experience, cold compresses are really helpful, especially for the first three days. I kept applying ice packs, and the swelling was less noticeable when I went out. As for products, I don't think you necessarily need to bring them from Taiwan. Drugstores in Seoul have many soothing products, so buying them locally is more convenient. You don't have to worry about luggage issues, and local pharmacists can also give you advice!
