Hi! My name is Gift, and I'm planning a trip to Korea next week to do a lot of beauty treatments. However, I'm worried about self-care during the recovery period since I'll be away from home. I'm wondering what I should bring – things like cooling face pads, scar sheets, or a soothing gel. I'm not really sure what to choose.
Have any of you who have been to Korea before experienced what you packed? And what do you think is most important for after checking out of the hotel? I'd prefer real advice rather than searching online. Should I buy these things in Thailand beforehand, or should I wait and buy them in Korea?

Hi! In my experience, it's best to buy basic skincare that your skin is familiar with before leaving, especially a gentle cleanser—your skin is very sensitive during recovery and can be a hassle if you suddenly use new products. But for specific items like cooling pads or soothing products, you can look for them at Korean drugstores; they have a wide selection and the prices are reasonable!
I was in a similar situation! Personally, I think you should definitely bring cooling wipes and moisturizing cream. If you're going to be staying at the hotel for a long time, it's probably convenient to buy them at a Korean drugstore. 😊
Honestly, I'd say just bring a good sunscreen and some gentle moisturizer from home that you know your skin likes—the soothing stuff is everywhere in Korea anyway, so you can grab it there if you need it! I stayed in a hotel after my procedures and the drugstores nearby had literally everything, so don't stress too much about packing it all beforehand.
I'm also considering getting a skincare treatment in Korea, and your question is excellent! I think moisturizing and soothing products are definitely the most important, but what you bring specifically depends on your skin type. I was also wondering if there are any convenience stores near the hotel where I can buy things on the go, so I don't have to prepare too much in advance.
