Hi everyone, I'm new here! I've been thinking about getting some cosmetic procedures done in Korea recently, but my Korean is really basic... It's been a real struggle when reading reviews because I can't understand a lot of the details and I'm not sure if the reviews are genuine.
I wanted to ask you all, how do you usually judge a clinic's reputation? Are there any red flags I should particularly watch out for? For example, if a review seems too perfect or overly exaggerated, should I be suspicious? Also, sometimes reviews translated by software sound a bit strange – does that mean the review might be problematic?
Additionally, would anyone recommend any blogs or videos from international users? I think seeing the real experiences of other foreigners might be more helpful. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm also from abroad, so I understand how you feel! My little tip is to look for reviews from other foreigners on YouTube or blogs — they often explain things in more detail and in a way that's easier to understand. For Korean reviews, I try to look at the before/after photos more than reading the text because pictures don't lie 😊
I feel you, Korean is so difficult 😅 Have you tried looking for reviews from other foreigners, or are you mainly reading Korean articles on these sites?
I can totally relate to how you're feeling! I'm also considering getting some procedures done in Korea and I'm a bit lost with all the Korean reviews too. Sometimes the translations from apps can be really weird. I think the best approach is to read reviews in a few different languages and see if there are similar descriptions. Also, asking other international friends on the forum might be more reliable than just relying on written reviews, as their personal experiences could be more valuable.
I'm also a foreigner and understand how confusing those long Korean reviews can be! I usually look for foreign bloggers or YouTubers living in Korea to see their real-life experiences, which makes it easier for me to understand and feel less worried.
I understand! I was confused at first too when reading Korean reviews 😅 but I tried checking reviews from foreigners on general platforms (like Instagram, YouTube, Reddit) in English or Thai, and it helped me understand much better because they explained the whole process and their actual feelings.
