Hi everyone, I'm Mengju from Taiwan. I'm currently considering getting a beauty treatment in South Korea, but to be honest, I'm a bit anxious because I'm unsure how to plan the cost, considering airfare, accommodation, and the treatment itself. Has anyone had similar experience?
I'd like to know, generally speaking, how many days should I allow for the trip? For example, after the treatment, my face might need some time to recover, so should I stay a few extra days before returning to Taiwan? Also, the round-trip airfare and accommodation in Seoul alone seem like a significant expense, and I haven't inquired about the exact cost of the treatment itself yet, but I know it will likely be quite expensive.
I'd like to ask how you all allocate your budget for the entire trip? Is there anything I haven't considered? I'm still hesitant about whether to actually go through with it, so I'd like to hear everyone's opinions. Thank you!

I'm also Taiwanese, and I've been considering the same thing lately! I think your concerns are very reasonable. I'm currently working on my budget, and it feels like a significant expense to cover airfare, accommodation, and treatment all at once. But it seems many people say that going in installments is actually more expensive, so your thinking is probably correct. I hope everyone can share some practical experiences, let's all cheer each other on! 💪
I'm also considering this, so I understand your concerns! I think you should plan carefully beforehand, but if you decide to go, 5-7 days in Seoul would be quite reasonable, allowing you time to both take care of your skin and explore the city.
Hey! Curious—have you thought about combining your trip with some sightseeing, or are you planning to keep it pretty focused on the treatment and recovery? I feel like that might help justify the flight cost a bit more haha
Hey Mengjou! I totally get the budget stress — I'm from the US and did a similar trip last year. Honestly, I'd say budget like 5-7 days total so you have a few days to recover before flying back, especially if you're doing any treatment. One thing I didn't expect was how much I spent on skincare products while I was there lol, so maybe set aside a little extra for that! Have you thought about what treatments you're actually interested in? That might help you figure out if the trip makes sense financially for you 💙
I'm from abroad too, so I understand you well! When planning your total expenses, it's a good idea to write down the airfare, hotel, medical expenses, and additional expenses in a notebook and compare them. I recommend exchanging stories with people who have new urine samples in this group, there are very understanding people here.
I understand your concerns. I'm from Thailand and planning a similar budgeting strategy. The key is to look for packages that include accommodation and treatment, and then allow yourself enough time to let your skin breathe. Does anyone have similar experience that can help?
