Double eyelid surgery from overseas—is it worth it or not?

Hello everyone! I'm Sari from Indonesia and I'm thinking about going to Seoul for eyelid surgery. I've wanted double eyelids for a long time, but I've always hesitated. Now I feel like this might be the right time, but... I'm still unsure if it's worth traveling all the way to Korea for it. Has anyone had a similar experience? What was the process like from start to finish?

What's making me overthink is: how long is the serious recovery period? I don't want to return to Indonesia with a swollen face that everyone notices. Plus, if there are any issues or follow-ups, how do I handle them from afar? I'm also still googling about travel costs, accommodation, and everything else—I'm not yet convinced if the total investment is worth it compared to surgery elsewhere.

If anyone could share their experience or tips for deciding, that would be great! How did you evaluate whether you needed to go to Korea or if there were other alternatives? I'd really appreciate any input from those of you who have explored this before!
