The cost of flights, accommodation, and recovery time after the procedure... how much does all of this add up to? It's hard to budget. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you're someone who can relate to this question, please help a little. Top priority: how long does the procedure itself take? And then, how many days are needed for recovery? I've heard that a comfortable recovery period is needed. Planning for holidays, travel costs, and procedure fees feels overwhelming.

Is anyone else in the same boat as me, or has anyone already gone through this? How did you tackle the planning? What was the peak and trough downtime like? I'm really looking for some practical advice. Thank you, friends!
