Hi everyone, I'm Xue, from China. I'm thinking of getting some cosmetic procedures done in South Korea, but as a foreigner, I'm honestly a bit unsure where to start. I've heard that South Korea is very advanced in this area, but how can I find a reliable clinic? Are there any ways to screen clinics?
My biggest concern is communication, as my Korean isn't very good. I'd like to ask how you usually overcome the language barrier? Do clinics provide Chinese translators, or do I need to bring my own? Also, what should I pay attention to during my first consultation, and how can I tell if a clinic is truly professional and responsible?
If any of you ladies have experience, could you share how you found clinics? Was it through friend referrals or online research? I want to know more so I can feel more confident. Thank you!

Hey! I was wondering if you've tried searching among your friends or online communities of foreigners living in Korea? I think it might help a lot with language and choosing reliable sources.
I'm also from China and considering getting treatment there! I'm worried about the language barrier, but I've heard many hospitals offer Chinese consultation services or can help arrange translation. However, you'll have to check with them yourself to find out the specifics. Hopefully, we can both find reliable places! 😊
Hi, Shana! I wanted to ask if you've ever tried using translation apps or websites to help with communication at the hospital? I'm also worried about the language barrier. 😅
