Considering double eyelid surgery in Seoul, is it worth flying there from abroad?

Hi everyone, I'm Peihan from Taiwan. I've been debating whether to fly to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've seen many shared surgical cases online from Seoul, and the results seem good, but I'm wondering... considering the costs of flights, accommodation, and time off work, is it really worth it? Plus, if any complications arise during recovery, I'd have to fly back for follow-up appointments, which sounds quite troublesome.

I'm currently torn between getting it done in Taiwan or making the firm decision to go to Seoul. Has anyone flown in from abroad for surgery? How did you make your decision? Did you consult with many clinics before deciding? I'm really unsure how to evaluate if a clinic is suitable for me. Do you have any advice?

Also, I'd like to ask how long everyone thinks is necessary to stay in Seoul during the recovery period. Some people say one to two weeks is enough, while others recommend staying longer for peace of mind. For those coming from abroad, planning this timeframe is crucial... I'd love to hear about everyone's experiences. Thanks!
