Hi everyone! I'm a user from Taiwan. I'm recently considering some treatments in Korea, but honestly, my Korean isn't very good, and I'm having some trouble reading reviews. I've used translation software to read some reviews, but I'm still unsure how to determine which ones are genuine and credible. Does anyone have experience to share?
What I'm wondering is, are there any obvious red flags I should be wary of? For example, if a review sounds too perfect, or some word usage seems strange, does that mean there might be a problem? I'm also unsure which platforms to look at for reliable reviews—some say reviews on certain platforms aren't necessarily truthful, but I don't know how to tell.
If you have any suggestions, like how to find independent reviews, or what questions to ask during consultations to verify a clinic's credibility, I'd really appreciate them. Thank you!

I totally relate to your confusion! I'm new here too, and it's really hard to tell the difference between genuine reviews and fabricated ones. I find reviews that are too perfect and use strange language suspicious, but perhaps you could ask the clinic directly about their experience and see how long they've been practicing—that's usually more helpful than just relying on reviews.
I totally get the language barrier struggle! Honestly, I've found that reading multiple reviews across different platforms and looking for ones with specific details (like what the actual process felt like, recovery timeline, etc.) helps way more than perfect-sounding reviews. During consultations, I just ask lots of questions about their experience and see how they explain things — trustworthy places seem patient with my English questions too!
As a foreigner myself, my experience is that posts mentioning specific details and drawbacks are more likely to be authentic, as overly perfect reviews are usually marketing. I suggest asking doctors specific technical questions during your consultation to see if their answers are professional and honest; this will help you determine their credibility!
