Now I hear that many foreigners fly to Korea for this procedure, so I'm starting to take it more seriously. My only concern is whether it's worth it – how much will the airfare, hotel, and surgery costs add up?

I'm also not sure how to research it properly. Has anyone had it done abroad and compared it to Vietnam? Are the results different, or is it just because the facilities there are better? I've read that the recovery process is quite long, so if I fly far, I'll have to stay for several weeks, which would be inconvenient for my work.
