This is my first time traveling alone for something like this, so I'm completely clueless about the timeline and costs.

What I want to know is—how long do we usually need to stay there? Do we have to come in advance for the first consultation, or can we just go the same day? And what about recovery time? I haven't dared to ask directly at the place because I'm afraid I've already committed. Flights, hotels, food—all of that requires a budget, besides the procedure itself.
