Hey everyone, I'm Eka from Jakarta. So here's the thing—I've been wanting to try a more serious facial treatment for a while now, but I'm really stuck between two options. There are good clinics here in Jakarta, but I'm really drawn to experiencing Korean aesthetics since I've heard their approach is different. But then I think about the effort, travel costs, and the hassle of finding the right clinic there... is it really worth it?
I'm curious how those of you who've gone to Korea for treatment made your decision? Is it actually way more worth it compared to treatment back home, or does it really just depend on the treatment itself? I'm also worried about follow-up care if something comes up—it's tough when your doctor is so far away.
If anyone has experience and wants to share the pros and cons, I'm all ears. I'd love to know how long people usually stay, and whether the results are really significant enough to justify spending that extra budget. Thanks in advance!

I completely understand your hesitation! I've actually flown from Southeast Asia to Korea for treatments myself, and to be honest, the biggest takeaway wasn't how miraculous a single session could be, but rather learning their skincare philosophy and how to layer products strategically. I was able to maintain better results at home after that. That said, you're right about follow-ups being inconvenient. I'd suggest first pinning down exactly what procedure you want to do, and then see if you can find a way to do remote consultations. That way you'll feel more confident about the whole thing.
