Hey everyone! I'm honestly so torn right now and would love to hear how others thought through this decision. I've been considering getting a procedure done, and I have the option to do it back home in the States or come out to Korea. There are pros and cons to both that keep flip-flopping in my head.
On one hand, doing it at home means no travel, seeing someone I might already know, and easier follow-ups. But Korea feels like the obvious choice given how much expertise there is here, and part of me really wants to experience it firsthand. The cost difference seems significant too, but honestly I'm still figuring out the realistic budget for either option.
My main worry is the aftercare and potential issues - like if something doesn't feel right weeks later, it's a lot harder to get back to Korea quickly. But then again, maybe I'm overthinking it? Has anyone else wrestled with this choice? How did you weigh the travel factor against the other stuff? Would love to hear what actually mattered most to you in the end.

I totally get the dilemma! Quick question though—have you thought about doing a consultation call with someone in Korea first to see if you'd feel comfortable doing follow-ups remotely, or would you definitely need to go back in person if something came up?
I have the same feeling! I'm in America too, but I was thinking of getting it done in Korea. I'm really worried about what will happen when I come back after the last checkup, and what will happen if there are any problems.
