Hello, it's Yui. I've recently become interested in cosmetic treatments in Korea and started researching, but honestly, I don't know how to find a trustworthy clinic. How does everyone else search?
I'm particularly concerned about the language barrier. Are there many clinics that offer consultations in English? Or should I arrange for an interpreter separately? I want to accurately understand explanations of treatment details and risks, so I'm worried about the language barrier. Also, what should I check when choosing a clinic, and are there things I should confirm before actually going?
I would be grateful for advice from anyone who has experienced treatments in Korea as a foreigner. How do you all make your decisions?

Yui, I totally get it! Language barriers are a real worry, aren't they? I had the same concerns at first. But when I actually went, I found quite a few places that could communicate in English. I also recommend writing down your detailed questions beforehand and bringing them with you to the consultation. After visiting a few places, I think the best approach is to choose the one where the explanations are clear and the staff seem trustworthy.
I understand, language concerns are a worry. I was anxious at first too, but it's a good idea to check beforehand during your consultation if you can have an interpreter. Also, many places have Japanese-speaking staff, so I recommend asking about that when you first inquire!
I totally get how Yui feels! I was also really worried about the language barrier at first... When I actually went for consultations at a few places, I sent my questions in English via email beforehand and brought a translation app with me. I think you can gauge a hospital's approach by whether you can fully understand their explanations during the consultation.
