Should I get it done domestically or in Korea? How did everyone decide?

I've been wrestling with this issue lately. I want to get a cosmetic procedure that's available domestically, but people around me say that Korean techniques and experience might be more advanced. However, going to Korea significantly increases the cost, considering flights, accommodation, time off, and whether I can take leave during recovery.

I'm not particularly distrustful of doctors in China, I'm just a bit torn about whether the results and safety would truly be more guaranteed. Plus, if something goes wrong with a procedure done in China, follow-up appointments are convenient; but if I go to Korea, post-procedure maintenance or any emergencies would be a hassle.

Are there any sisters who have experienced this dilemma? How did you ultimately decide? Did a specific reason lead you to choose one over the other? I'm really eager to hear everyone's honest thoughts and experiences, so I can feel more confident in my decision.
