Hi everyone, I'm Tam. I'm currently torn between having a cosmetic procedure done in Vietnam or flying to South Korea. I've looked at some places in Vietnam; they're cheaper, but I'm not very confident about the quality or the experience of the doctors. I've heard that the quality in Korea is better, but the problem is the high cost, not only for the procedure itself but also for flights and hotels...
I'd like to ask if any of you have been in a similar situation? If you've decided to have it done in Vietnam, what were your reasons? Or if you've gone to Korea, did you find it worthwhile? I'm not worried about safety because I know Korean doctors are skilled, but my concern is the cost and recovery time after flying so far...

I had the same dilemma as you! I think the main thing is finding a good consultant in Vietnam, because there are some really reputable places, but you have to ask a lot of questions and look at their portfolios thoroughly. If you decide to go to Korea, I advise you to carefully calculate the total cost and find a travel companion to share a hotel room; it's both economical and provides someone to take care of you during your recovery 😊
I sympathize. I'm in the same situation. I've been thinking that going to Korea would offer better quality food, but the cost of flights, accommodation, and having to take two or three weeks off work is really something. I hope someone who has tried both options can share their opinions!
