Hi everyone, I'm Tam from Hanoi. I'm thinking about flying to South Korea for a cosmetic procedure, but I'm a little worried about the total cost. It's not that I don't have the money, but I want to plan carefully and not spend impulsively. I have no experience traveling abroad for medical treatment, so I'm a bit confused.
I'd like to ask how long you usually spend on the whole trip? I guess it takes at least a week to recover before flying back, right? And considering flights, accommodation, food... plus the procedure fees, the total amount is quite large. I'm not sure how much to prepare and whether I should wait to save more or start planning now.
Anyone who has done this before, could you share how you planned? I'm interested in choosing the right time, finding accommodation near the medical facility, and whether I should go alone or ask friends to go with me. Thank you everyone!

Hi Tam! I'm also considering the same thing, so I totally relate to your concerns about budget and planning. I think coming with a friend would be a great idea, so you'll have someone to help you during your recovery and not feel alone, plus you can share the cost of accommodation too!
I completely understand your concerns! I've also come from Taiwan, and I was quite nervous at first, unsure how to prepare. I think the most important thing is to consult with a few clinics beforehand to understand your time and budget. This way, you can truly plan your entire trip instead of blindly guessing. As for whether to bring friends, I think it's more reassuring to have someone you trust accompany you, but it also depends on your own preferences!
You asked a very good question! I have the same thought — I'm thinking about getting a facial treatment from Korea, but I'm not sure how much it will cost. Like you, I want to plan well in advance and hear from everyone's experiences.
