On the fence: Is it worth flying to Seoul specifically for double eyelid surgery?

Hello everyone, I'm Peichun from Taiwan. I've been thinking about getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul recently, but honestly, I'm a bit torn. Taiwan has quite a few doctors who can perform this procedure, but I've heard many people say that Korean aesthetics and techniques are highly reputable in this area, and friends who've had it done there have had good results. However, after factoring in flights, accommodation, and time costs, will this trip really be more cost-effective than staying in Taiwan? Plus, the recovery period will be in an unfamiliar city, and I'm a bit worried about communication barriers if any issues arise.

I'd like to ask about everyone's experiences – has anyone specifically flown to Korea for this procedure? How did you decide it was "worth it"? Was it because of a specific doctor, a wider range of surgical options, or was the overall cost actually not that different? My biggest concern right now is, if I can achieve similar results in Taiwan, why go through all the hassle? But if there's a significant difference, I don't want to regret not trying it out.
