Hey everyone! I'm flying out to Korea next month for some aesthetic treatments and I'm honestly overthinking the aftercare packing list lol. I know I'll probably need cooling masks and maybe some silicone patches for any marks, but I'm not sure what's actually worth lugging in my suitcase vs. just buying there.
Did anyone bring their own specific products from home, or did you just hit up the drugstores once you arrived? I'm a bit nervous about the swelling and redness phase, so I'm thinking of packing my trusted soothing gel just in case my skin freaks out. But also... I've heard Korean beauty products are amazing for this kind of thing, so maybe I'm being paranoid?
Also, are cooling masks a must-have in your experience, or is it kind of overkill? I don't want to waste luggage space but I also want to actually feel comfortable during recovery. Any tips on what actually made a difference for you guys? Thanks so much!

I'm thinking about something similar! I think bringing my usual soothing products would be a good idea, it would give me peace of mind. However, I've heard that drugstores in Korea have a huge selection, so I can buy more depending on the situation. I'm not entirely sure if I need to bring cooling face masks, but I'd like to bring one or two just in case, since the flight is quite long and they won't take up too much luggage space.
I've been struggling with the same thing, and I've started to think that buying them locally might be the best option after all 😅 There's a wider variety of soothing gels and cooling masks in Korea, and you can choose one that suits your skin, so buying them locally might be better. I'm planning to bring the ones I usually use, but a cushion-type cooling pack wouldn't take up too much space in my luggage, and I feel like it would be reassuring to have one!
