My mom has been going to Chunhae Hospital for a long time, but since my irregular periods got a bit worse this year, I decided to go along with her.

I felt a bit shy about going to the OB/GYN alone anyway, and since my mom said it was okay, I went with her, and it was actually really comfortable.

Dr. Hong Jung-ah examined us, and perhaps because she is a female medical professional, I was able to talk naturally about things that might have been awkward to discuss otherwise.

My mom also had tests related to menopause, and she said it was convenient because everything—from pre- and post-menopausal checkups to everything else—can be done in one place at the same hospital, so she didn't have to go anywhere else.

I had my irregular period checked and an ultrasound done together, and it was great that they explained the results right away that same day.

It was actually quite reassuring to find a OB/GYN that I can go to with my mom.
