This is my first post. I'm considering getting a procedure in South Korea, but I'm having trouble figuring out how much it will cost in total—airfare, accommodation, procedure fees, and other miscellaneous expenses.
I'm especially unsure about how long I should plan my vacation for the post-procedure recovery period. How many days is a typical stay in South Korea? I have work commitments, so I want to plan efficiently. What kind of schedule did people who have actually gone create?
Regarding the budget, I know the exact amount varies greatly depending on the clinic, but are there any rough estimates or ways people have managed to reduce costs? For example, choosing the right time of year for flights and accommodation? I'm very anxious and can't seem to take the first step... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It was my first time too, and I was just as worried about the recovery time as you! In my experience, some people choose to go during a long weekend or even longer if possible, as some require extended recovery periods. It really depends on your preference. I recommend contacting the clinic directly as they can usually help you plan everything properly.
I understand your anxiety! I have a question for you, Poster-san: have you already decided on the type of procedure you want? I think the downtime and length of stay will vary quite a bit depending on that, so I thought it might be a good idea to start by working backward from there.
This was also my first time going to Korea for treatment. My experience is that it's more reassuring to allow a few extra days so you don't have to worry about being too rushed. As for the budget, I found that airfare and accommodation are much cheaper during the off-season. Plus, consulting with a few clinics in advance can give you a general idea of the price range, which makes planning easier!
