Hi everyone! So I've been thinking about doing a procedure in Korea for a while now, and I'm finally getting serious about it. But honestly, the whole trip planning is making my head spin a bit. I'm trying to figure out realistic costs beyond just the procedure itself—flights from the US aren't cheap, and I'm unsure how much I should budget for accommodation, getting around, recovery time, etc.
Has anyone done this before and can share what the actual timeline looked like? Like, how many days did you end up needing total? I'm guessing you can't just fly in one day and leave the next, especially if there's any downtime involved. I'm also wondering if it's better to stay longer to let things settle before flying back, or if that's overkill.
I'm trying to be smart about this and not just jump in blindly. Any tips on how you budgeted everything together—the procedure, travel, accommodation—without totally stressing about money? I'm not looking for exact prices (I know those vary wildly), just trying to get a sense of what to plan for. Should I be looking at a week-long trip? Two weeks? Would love to hear from anyone who's actually done this!

Hi, I'm also from overseas and planning the same thing! You mentioned thinking about a week or two—from your friends' experiences, how long do they estimate the recovery time for the treatment you're considering? Because that seems to be the key to knowing the minimum number of days you have to stay there.
