I'm Trinh, from Vietnam, and I've recently been thinking about flying to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've seen many people talk about the quality of services in Korea, but I'm still hesitant about whether it's worth flying to another country. The costs of travel, accommodation, recovery time... it all adds up to seem quite significant.
What worries me the most is how long I'll have to stay in Seoul for follow-up appointments after the surgery, and whether it's safe to fly back to Vietnam immediately afterward. I also don't know how to search for information without getting scammed, as there are too many advertisements online that are hard to distinguish.
Has anyone been through a similar situation? How did you decide to fly to another country to have this done? I'd love to hear practical opinions from everyone, especially those who are also from Vietnam. Thank you! 💙

I completely understand your concern, Trinh! 😊 I'm also from abroad and hesitated a lot before deciding to go to Seoul. It's indeed expensive with flights, accommodation, and follow-up care. Thankfully, the girls who went before me helped me a lot when I asked them about practical details like how many days I'd need to stay there and how to follow up from home afterward. The important thing is to set aside time before you decide and don't rush.
Hello Trinh! I'm thinking the exact same thing, about coming from abroad for treatments. Your comments are very realistic, especially regarding recovery time and follow-up appointments. I'm also experiencing the same anxiety, it feels like you're already starting to get suspicious! 💙
Hi Trinh! I've also been thinking about this and wanted to ask if you've consulted with a doctor in Vietnam first? Because if I'm going to fly that far, I feel like I should understand my specific situation before deciding if it's worth it.
Hey Trinh, I'm actually thinking about something similar from the US side, so I totally get your hesitation! The recovery timeline and follow-up care stuff is definitely something I'd want to figure out before committing—maybe some people here have experience with doing post-op check-ins remotely or knew how long they needed to stay? Your point about all the ads making it hard to separate real info from marketing is so real, that's been my biggest concern too.
Hey Trinh! I totally get the hesitation — I'm from the US and had the same worries about flying all the way over here. Honestly, the recovery time and follow-up appointments are real considerations, so maybe reaching out to places directly about their aftercare process for international patients could help you figure out if a quick trip is actually doable for you? 💙
