Hello everyone, my name is Hoa, and I currently live in Vietnam. I'm contemplating a pretty big decision. I've wanted double eyelid surgery for a long time, but instead of looking locally, I'm considering flying to Seoul for the procedure. It might sound a bit over the top, but I've seen many friends from abroad go to Korea for it, and the quality seems to be on a completely different level. The issue is the cost of flights, accommodation, and recovery time — I'm still wrestling with whether it's worth it.

I'd like to ask if anyone has experience flying from afar for any procedures, what are your thoughts? My biggest concern is the recovery process — if I stay in Seoul for a few extra weeks, the cost will double. But if I fly back to Vietnam early to recover, it will be more difficult when I need follow-up appointments. I'm not sure what to prioritize: saving money or the quality of service.

If anyone has advice or similar experiences, please let me know. I'm also curious if the technology and techniques in Korea are truly significantly different, or if it's just marketing hype.
