Hi everyone! So I've been going back and forth on this for a while now. I'm interested in getting a cosmetic procedure done, and I keep seeing all these posts about people getting treatments in Korea and being really happy with the results. Part of me is tempted because the clinics here seem really advanced and experienced with what I want, but then I worry about the whole recovery process happening away from home, and I'm honestly not sure how my insurance would even work.
On the other hand, getting it done back in the US feels safer in some ways—I know the system, my doctor, all that. But I've also heard from people that the aftercare appointments would be less convenient if something needed adjusting. I guess I'm just trying to figure out what questions I should even be asking myself before making this call?
Has anyone else wrestled with this decision? What made you choose one way or the other? Was it the cost, the timeline, the recovery situation, or something else entirely? I'd love to hear how people thought through it all.

I'm also struggling between these two options! Are you wondering about recovery costs, or just worried about being far from home during the recovery period?
