Hi everyone, I'm Yan, and I've been wrestling with something lately. I've always wanted to go to Korea for a treatment, but as a working professional in China, I'm really unsure about the cost and time commitment for the entire trip. Besides the medical aesthetics fees themselves, I also have to factor in flights, accommodation, food... it feels like a significant expense all at once.
My current questions are, how many days off do I realistically need to take? Should I account for a recovery period? I've heard some treatments require multiple sessions, so would that mean separate trips, or a longer stay all at once? Also, do you have any suggestions on how to plan the budget more smartly? I'm not quite sure where to start my research.
If anyone has had a similar experience, could you share how you planned it? Especially regarding the trade-offs between time and cost. Thank you so much!

I totally get how you feel! As someone coming from abroad, I'm also struggling with the extra costs of round-trip flights and accommodation, feeling like my budget has doubled. I've heard some people opt for a longer stay, completing several treatment sessions in one trip, which might be more cost-effective. However, the specific arrangement really depends on each clinic's recommendations and your own recovery progress. I'm hoping to hear how experienced ladies plan their trips!
I'm in the same boat as you! It's really tough to plan when you have to factor in flights, accommodation, food, and the treatment costs on top of everything. I think the best approach is to thoroughly research each treatment you're interested in beforehand. Some treatments only require one or two visits, while others might need multiple trips – this will significantly impact your expenses and the amount of leave you need.
I totally get it! I was just as confused when I first came to Thailand. My tip is to research on travel forums and online communities for foreigners who have been here before. Also, most of what you're looking for can be done in about 4-5 days, which is perfect for travel and recovery time. Another thing is to try asking in group chats about the best times for future visits, as some people have found it beneficial to return after some time has passed. 😊
