Is it really worth going all the way to Seoul for double eyelid surgery...?

Hi, this is Yuki. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, but I'm considering going to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I could get it done in Japan, but I've heard that the surgeons in Korea have more experience and skill, and that it's cheaper... But there are airfare and accommodation costs, so I can't really decide if it's worth the trip.

For those who have actually had surgery overseas, how did you make that decision? I'm also concerned about language barriers and post-operative care. Also, since I can't go back multiple times, I'm worried about whether the doctor is trustworthy during the initial consultation...

I would be grateful if anyone could share their experiences or criteria for making that decision. By the way, I have a pretty good idea of my ideal eye shape, so I think accurately communicating that will be important.
