Hi everyone, I'm Nhung from Hanoi. I'm planning to go to South Korea for some cosmetic procedures, but I'm really worried about planning and calculating the costs. I've never done this kind of medical tourism before, so I don't know what I need to prepare.
My main concern is: besides the cost of the procedures themselves, I need to factor in airfare, accommodation, and food, and I'm not sure how long is appropriate. I heard I need to rest for a while afterward, so I can't just go for 3-4 days. Does anyone have experience and can share the ideal preparation time and length of stay? Or how do you calculate your overall budget?
I'm also not very clear on the specific costs because prices vary from place to place, so perhaps those of you who have been there could help me understand the process and factors to consider. Thank you so much!

Nhung, I totally understand how you feel! I had the same worries. When I was in Japan, I couldn't imagine how much time I'd need to recover physically or how long I'd actually need to rest after the treatment.😅 In my case, I ended up staying for about 5 days, and spent the last day shopping and sightseeing, but I realized how important it is to plan with plenty of leeway. I highly recommend listening to other people's experiences as well; you'll find lots of helpful information!
Hello! This is my first time going too. I was wondering if you've decided what activities you want to do? The reopening times for different activities seem to vary a lot, which might affect your overall itinerary.
Nhung, I've been thinking about this too, so I really resonate with your post! I'm also worried about the overall budget, but I've heard that if you prepare well and plan meticulously, it will be less stressful. Have you researched the criteria for comparing different places? I'm also really looking forward to hearing about everyone's experiences to know what to keep in mind.
I completely understand how you feel, Nhung! I'm also from Hanoi and I was just as nervous the first time I went. I think a week is the best time if possible; it's enough time to breathe and recover without being too expensive. If you have any difficulties, feel free to ask me; I'm happy to share my experience!
