Hi, this is Rin. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, but what's it really like to go to Seoul for double eyelid surgery? I know I can get it done in Japan, but I've heard that Korea has more advanced technology and more options. However, going from overseas involves a lot of hassle in terms of cost, time, and so on.
Actually, when I consider travel and accommodation costs, I wonder if it's really that different from getting it done in Japan. Also, I'm worried about aftercare in case of any problems, and language barriers. I'd like to hear from people who are considering surgery in Seoul, or who have actually had it done. What was the deciding factor for you? I'd appreciate it if you could tell me about any preparations you made or things you were careful about.

I'm also torn between working in Vietnam or going to Seoul, so I completely understand how you feel! 😅 The combined cost of flights and hotels might not be much cheaper than working back home, but I've heard that Seoul has more options and the support teams are more dedicated. My main concern is communication and follow-up if anything goes wrong, but I hope someone can share some real experiences!
I understand your concerns. What helped me the most was contacting some clinics beforehand to ask about detailed post-operative care. Some have English-speaking staff or provide translation services, which greatly reduced language concerns. And yes, the travel and accommodation costs are actually quite similar to doing it in Japan, but what really appealed to me was the free consultations and the wide variety of options.
