Hey everyone! So I'm seriously thinking about getting some work done while I'm in Seoul next year, but I'm realizing I can barely read Korean and obviously Google Translate isn't always reliable. I've been trying to look through reviews on local platforms, but I honestly have no idea if what I'm reading is legit or if there are tons of fake reviews out there (which seems to happen everywhere, right?).
I guess my main question is—how do you guys navigate this as foreigners? Are there any obvious red flags I should look out for in reviews, even if I can only understand bits and pieces? Like, do overly perfect reviews seem sus to anyone else? And what about clinics that seem to cater super heavily to foreigners—is that actually a good thing or does it sometimes mean they're less experienced with local patients?
Also, I'm wondering if there are safer ways to get recommendations, like through friends who've actually been, or communities like this one. I really want to make sure I'm going somewhere trustworthy and not just chasing the trendiest place. Any advice would be super helpful!
